YES! Thank you soo soo much for your help!
Hi quinn! Sorry for not getting back sooner. I know that scars with any
depth to them, can be treated with fillers such as Silikon and
Aquamid--this has worked very well for me in the final stages of getting
rid of my scars. Like I said before, my Chicken pox scars were excised and
sewn to make them smaller, then I had dermabrasion (not micro dermabrasion)
but the sanding type dermabrasion. After my scars healed, I had any
remaining depth to my scars filled in with facial fillers that I mentioned
above. My face is really smoother.
Now, as far as the "white type" scars, IPL did help---but I still have one
tiny scar that is a little white. If you keep in mind that scar dissipation
is a process and not a one shot deal, you have mastered the understanding
of scars. There is really no quick fix. I had a friend that had "needling"
done to her scars and she swears by it! Needling is done with a tattoo gun,
and tiny pricks are made around and on the scar which in turns stimulates
collagen beneath the skin and fills in the scar. Just thought I\'d mention
this to you as well.
I hope I helped you a little.
Hallie
